According to report reaching OYOGist.com, England side, Sheffield Wednesday have sacked their manager Garry Monk and his staff with immediate effect due to poor performances.
Monk was named the Owls manager last year September and he has been in-charge of 58 games at the club.
Sheffield Wednesday released an official statement to confirm the sacking of Garry Monk.
“Sheffield Wednesday have terminated the contracts of manager Garry Monk and his staff with immediate effect. Monk joined the Owls in September 2019 and has since overseen 58 games,” the club confirmed on their website.
Chairman of Sheffield Wednesday, Dejphon Chansiri told the club’s official website about why the decision was made by the club.
“I feel the time is right to make a change and I wish Garry and his team all the best for the future. I would like to say thank you for the time and effort Garry and his staff have committed to Sheffield Wednesday.”
