In the midst of ongoing u unrest across Nigeria, the top of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis on Sunday called for prayer for the nation.
The Pope in a tweet on his official twitter handle, @Pontifex approached everybody especially Catholics to supplicate against each type of savagery preparing in the nation in the outcome of the #ENDSARS protests.
The Pope in his announcement stated: “Let us implore the Lord for Nigeria, so every type of viciousness may consistently be kept away from, in the steady inquiry of social agreement through the advancement of equity and the benefit of everyone.”
He bid for a conclusion to savagery in Nigeria in the wake of presenting the Angelus Sunday.
He stated: “I follow with specific concern the news originating from Nigeria about the ongoing fierce conflicts between law enforcement officers and some youth protesters.”
“We go to the Lord that all types of brutality will consistently be stayed away from, in the steady quest for social congruity through the advancement of equity and the benefit of everyone.”
