Almost half of the UK population could be vaccinated against the novel coronavirus today, the country’s covid-19 vaccine task force said.
But Kate Bingham, one of a top UK Official said vaccinating everyone against Covid-19 was simply “not going to happen”, although officials are hoping to give the vaccine to about 30 million of the UK’s population of 67 million, oyogist gathered.
Ms Bingham told newsmen, saying thus; “There’s going to be no vaccination of people under 18.“It’s an adult-only vaccine, for people over 50, focusing on health workers and care home workers and the vulnerable.”
Recall earlier last month, Prime Minister Boris Johnson warned he expected the next few months of the pandemic to be bumpy, but that things would look radically different in the spring.
Also, UK authorities revealed that nearly 16,000 coronavirus cases went unreported in the Country.
