Ibuchi Nwoju, a security guard that killed one Anambra man in Onitsha market over facemask compliance tussle has finally spoken, and OYOGist.com has the video.
It was earlier reported that the victim, a 22-year-old victim, Cletus Chisom, was stabbed in the chest by the security guard, leading to his death.
Ibuchi Nwoku, the security guard has narrated his own side of the story and what transpired that led to the murder of Cletus Chisom.
Narrating how the event went down, Ibuchi said that he works as a security guard at a market, and was given an instruction not to permit anyone into the market without their facemask on.
When a woman and her daughter came in, the daughter was not wearing a facemask, but the mother was. He prevented them from entering the market, and the mother pleaded to allow her to buy a facemask for her daughter. He told the daughter to get the facemask, which she did before they were permitted inside the market.
The girl’s brother later came to challenge him, which led to a fight and he brought out his pen-knife to stab him on the arm, but a misstep caused the knife to stab the man’s chest, killing him instead.
