Oyo State records 3 new COVID-19 cases, Gov Seyi confirms

The head of the Oyo State COVID-19 Task Force, His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde has announced the confirmation of 3 new Coronavirus cases in the State, OYOGist.com is aware.

The Governor made the confirmation last night during his daily COVID-19 Task Force Update, where he revealed that 3 of the tests carried out on suspected cases came back POSITIVE.

“The COVID-19 confirmation test for three suspected cases from the University College Hospital, Ibadan, came back POSITIVE, today. So, there are currently nine active cases in Oyo State,” Governor Seyi Makinde announced.

Governor Seyi Makinde also revealed that a total of 610 samples have been collected in Oyo State. 453 of those samples were collected at the COVID-19 drive-through/walk-through testing center at Adamasingba Stadium.
