Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, has dismissed reports suggesting a political rift between him and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, insisting that their relationship remains cordial and focused on the development of the state.
Speaking during the distribution of 60,000 bags of fertilizer to farmers under the Renewed Hope Fertilizer Distribution Programme in Zaria, Abbas described the rumours as baseless and urged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to disregard speculation aimed at creating division within the party.
The Speaker stressed that he and Governor Uba Sani share a common vision for Kaduna State and remain committed to strengthening the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections. He called on party members to prioritize unity, discipline, and collective progress over personal interests.
Abbas also cautioned against the spread of false information and political gossip, warning that such actions could weaken the party’s cohesion and distract from governance and development goals.
His remarks come amid increasing political activities and realignments ahead of the 2027 elections, with leaders across the country working to consolidate support within their respective parties. Abbas reaffirmed that the APC in Kaduna remains united and capable of delivering on its promises to the people.
