OYOGist.com has learned of the sad demise of Josie Harris. She was the mother of three of the children of American professional wrestling champion and promoter, Floyd Mayweather.
According to TMZ, Josie Harris was found dead at her Valencia, California home inside her car on Monday.
According to law enforcement reports to TMZ, it was revealed that police arrived at her home by 9:30 in the evening and found Josie unresponsive in her car.
Harris was, therefore, pronounced dead at the scene. However, there is no sign of foul play and authorities are treating the case as a death investigation and not a homicide.
Josie Harris was 40 years old.
Josie and Floyd had a tumultuous relationship with the mother of his three children accusing him of attacking her in 2010, and then served 2 months behind bars.
Harris claimed he attacked her six timed and once broke into her home in Vegas while she was sleeping and pulled her and attacked her.
In an interview with Katie Couric, Floyd denied the allegations, saying “Did I restrain a woman that was on drugs? Yes, I did. So if they say that’s domestic violence, then, you know what? I’m guilty. I’m guilty of restraining someone.”
Harris sued Mayweather for $20 million in 2014 for defamation following the interview he granted Katie.
