According to a report, the Nigerian Customs has intercepted a container loaded with riffles allegedly bound to the deadly Boko Haram sect.
The container shipping the guns was camouflaged as a food shipment with several bags of flour loaded in the container. This was done in an attempt to pass the shipment off as food.
It is not clear if the riffles were actually meant to be sent to the terrorist group or they were just shipments from an unlicensed gun dealer who fled after the customs officers intercepted the shipment.
According to Twitter user Savn Daniel, with the username @savndaniel, France was accused of sending the shipment of riffles to the terrorist group. This currently an unconfirmed report.
This is not the first time the Nigerian Customs has intercepted weapons suspected to be destined to the terrorist group.
