Nigeria’s leading indigenous airline operator, Air Peace, on the 10 of December 2019 announced plans to begin flight operations to the city of Ibadan.
The Chairman of the airline, Mr. Allen Onyema announced the place for the commencement of the new flight operations while at a lecture at the University of Ibadan, UI, Alumni Association Luncheon and Awards. There, he delivered a note on the topic: “Nigeria and the Rise and Rise of Ethnic Nationalism.”
The airline, Air Peace, also bagged an award of excellence at the event. The Award, “Corporate Award of Excellence” was delivered to the chairman in recognition of his company’s commitment to the delivery of safe and comfortable flights.
Receiving the award, Onyema said, “very soon, we shall start flying Abuja-Ibadan-Abuja daily, Kano-Ibadan-Kano and Owerri-Ibadan-Owerri three times a week.”
