President Trump, on Friday 20 December 2019 signed a law that allows American Federal civilian workers to get paid while on parental leave.
The President of the United States of America made the announcement while at the country’s military base at Joint Base Andrews, where he made another announcement.
“After years of unrealized promises by other politicians, I honor my commitment today as I sign Paid Parental Leave for the Federal Civilian Workforce, that’s paid into law,” Donal Trump said at the event.
This new law means that American civilians that work for the Federal Government would continue to receive their cheques while on parental leave.
