At an event in Buckingham Palace, ahead of Thursday’s UK NATO summit, the leaders of Canada, UK, and France were caught on camera gossiping about Trump.
The three men, Emmanuel Marcon the president of France, Boris Johnson the Prime Minister of UK and Justin Trudeau the Prime Minister of Canada were gossiping about President Trump and his earlier unscheduled press conference.
The men could be seen and heard making fun of Trump, with Trudeau saying “He was late because he takes a 40-minute press conference off the top,” in response to a light-hearted flippancy from Johnson, who asked
“Is that why you were late?”
“I just watched his team’s jaws drop to the floor,” said the Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.
While they did not mention Trump by name, it appears they were unaware that their mics were on. A camera caught the conversation on tape, although most of it was inaudible. They also made reference to Trump’s golf resort in Miami where the president has named as the host site for next year’s G7 summit.
