Oyogist has learned that JP Morgan CEO, Jamie Dimon has disclosed that unvaccinated staff working in the bank’s New York offices could lose their jobs if they don’t get vaccinated against COVID-19.
“If you aren’t going to get vaxxed, you won’t be able to work in that office. We’re not going to pay you to not work in the office,” Dimon said in an interview.
Although the company hasn’t previously required staff to be vaccinated – it had urged them to do so.
Dimon also disclosed that the bank was adjusting its vaccine policy within its offices to follow local rules.
“We’re not trying to be consistent, there are different laws and different requirements and cities and states and schools and so here we’re adjusting locally.” Dimon said further.
