The UK police has confirmed to the parents of missing 19-year-old student, Richard Okorogheye, that the body found in a pond on Epping Forest, Essex matches their son’s description, OYOGist.com has gathered.
OYOGist.com earlier reported that a body was found in a pond on Epping Forest as police extends search for the teenage student who has been missing since March 22.
Police inquiries initially identified Richard Okorogheye last seen leaving his home address and heading towards the direction of Ladbroke Grove at around 8:30 pm
However, Police said Mr Okorogheye was last seen on CCTV heading towards Epping Forest with a sachel bag on him. He boarded a taxi to travel to a London residential area of Loughton, Essex. CCTV showed that Richard Okorogheye had walked towards Epping Forest at 12:39 am on March 23.
The police also revealed that his phone has not been in use since he disappeared.
Richard’s mother, Joel once said he son struggled to coping with University pressures and shielding the COVID19.
While the body found had not been formally declared as the missing Richard Okorogheye’s, police said they have informed his parents that the description of the body matches that of the missing 19-year-old student.
