President Muhammadu Buhari has directed that one million more households be added to the current 2.6 Million households in the country’s social register.
He revealed this in his nationwide live broadcast.
The president in his broadcast, which is his second broadcast since the coronavirus pandemic hit the country stated that the country will support the one million extra households with social investment programmes.
The president also promised that in the coming weeks, the country through the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 will do whatever it takes to support Nigerians.

He also expressed faith and optimism that by working together and following the rules, the country shall get over the pandemic.
