Good News: Lagos discharges 6 coronavirus patients after making recovery

Nigerians jubilate as news filtered through the Internet that six confirmed coronavirus patients in Lagos State have been discharged after showing full recovery.

According to reports, the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi made the announcement during a press briefing on Thursday.

“Tomorrow, we are going to discharge six of the (coronavirus) patients in Lagos.

“Our admitted patients will go down theoretically to 18.”

“6 of our #COVID19 inpatients have recovered and will be discharged soon,” Tunde Ajayi, special assistant to Lagos State governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu tweeted earlier.

“There’s something Lagos is doing right. Lagos takes the lead,” the Commissioner was quoted saying.

Lagos is the worst-hit state since the coronavirus outbreak was reported in Nigeria.
