The federal government has been advised to embrace a newly launched solar solution – ‘solarkiosk’ to bridge the gap of power generation and distribution in the country.
The advice was given by an expert, Otunba Babatunde Morakinyo, who posited that embracing the new technology will also help Nigeria attain target seven of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Solarkiosk is a German-engineered innovation said to be useful in powering hospitals and other important facilities.
According to Mr. Morakinyo, the introduction of the technology was borne out of the passion to improve the standards of living for Nigerians using sustainable energy solutions.
