COVID-19: Gov. Samuel Ortom urges Benue people to go for COVID-19 test

According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom, has reportedly urged the good people of Benue state to go for the COVID-19 test to know their health status on the virus.

This was made known bubby Governor, in a statement issued his Chief Press Secretary, Terver Akase, in Makurdi yesterday. He stated that some of his close aides tested positive to the virus despite him testing negative to the virus while noting that the act made him go into isolation as the protocol on curbing the coronavirus demanded.

“According to medical experts, the second phase of the pandemic is deadlier and therefore requires the collaboration of everyone to contain.”

“He emphasized that “COVID-19 is real and it is important that people take preventive measures such as physical distancing, wearing of face masks, washing of hands with soap and the use of sanitizers to contain the outbreak,” Governor Samuel Ortom said.
