Kano state government orders reopening of the state educational institutions

The Kano State government under the administration of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has announced 26th October, 2020 for re-opening of the state institutions after a long closure of seven month due to effect of Pandemic (Covid-19) in the state, oyogist.com reports.

The commissioner of Higher Education Dr. Mariya Mahmud Bunkure disclosed this on yesterday Monday 12th October, 2020 while meeting with the stake holders in the state.

The honorable commissioner Dr. Bunkure added that the government of Kano state has disbursed all the materials and personal protective equipments required for fumigation. She also said that the re-opening of the state institutions is based on the dropped of recorded cases of Covid-19 in Kano.

The commissioner commended Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje for his tremendous effort toward the education matter in Kano state.

The institution owned by state are; Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil. Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano. Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education. Kano state polytechnic. Kano school of Nursing. Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Danbatta Kano and other institution owned by the state that are not mention here.
