Ardent listeners of Tope Edward and his popular breakfast show on Fresh FM Ibadan, dubbed FRESHLY PRESSED, were thrown into a frenzy on Friday morning, when the ace presenter made the shocking announcement, oyogist.com reports.
Tope Edward; a seasoned broadcaster who combines journalism with mild law practices, announced at the end of his show on Friday 14th August 2020 that he is leaving the radio for good, to focus on his law practice, with the emphasis, “forever”.
We can vividly recall that Barrister Tope Edward was in charge of defending his boss, client and principal; Dr. Yinka Ayefele during his demolition ordeal and legal tussle with the former Governor of Oyo State, (now late), Senator Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi, before and after the later demolished part of the former’s office complex, which houses a Radio station (Fresh 105.9 FM), a recording studio, a functions multipurpose hall, a Musical band (The Merry Makers), and an Events Management Company (Fresh Hostess).
