Tension is currently rising across major transport hubs in Lagos following unconfirmed reports alleging the tragic demise of Alhaji Toba Ajiboye, a prominent stakeholder and the Organising Secretary of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Lagos State Chapter.
Initial reports indicated that Ajiboye was allegedly targeted in a coordinated assassination attempt by heavily armed men in an undisclosed area of Lagos.
As of the time of filing this report, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) has not released an official situation report regarding the incident.
