According to report reaching OYOGist.com, the Federal Minister for Transportation, Rotimi Ameachi, has reportedly said that President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the construction of another railway line from Kano to Kaduna and work has begun immediately.
The new train lines which connect many cities and towns between Kaduna and Kano. It will also make it easy for farmers to transport their products to the cities when the project is completed.
The new approval from the president came after the completion of the Itakpe Warri Railway Complex which is named after former President Goodluck Jonathan. The project will connect Delta and Kogi States which happened to be the steel arenas of the country.
The three major rail projects this Administration of President Muhammadu Buhari inherited from the previous Administrations have been completed; the Abuja Metro Rail, the Abuja-Kaduna Rail, and the 327km Itakpe-Ajaokuta-Warri Rail, which started in 1987.
The Lagos-Ibadan railway lines which were initiated by this administration is currently under construction.
