IPPIS: ‘No January salary for unregistered ASUU members,’ FG

The Federal Government is keeping a firm grip on its position to enroll all government-employed University Lecturers into the FG propriety payroll system, the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).

The FG made in known through a statement from the Accountant General of the Federation’s office and signed by the director of the IPPIS, Olufehinti O. J for the AG.

Recall that the union if lectures under the Academic Staff Union if Universities (ASUU), had entered into an impasse with the FG over the later’s mandatory requirement of enrolling all staff of the former into the payroll system.
