According to report reaching OYOGist.com, Salihu Yakasai, the special adviser to Ganduje on media has been suspended by the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje for criticising President Muhammadu Buhari over End SARS protest.

It would be recalled that Yakasai slammed the president for not addressing Nigerians amid the heavy protests against police brutality that rocked the nation both online and offline protests against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigeria Police Force.

According to Yakasai’s tweets made through his twitter handle, @dawisu, he said the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has no empathy for Nigerians for not responding promptly to the agitation of the people.

The Governor however while reacting to Yakasi’s statement shortly after the IG announced that SARS had been disbanded described Yakasai’s comments as “unguarded utterances”, and however noted that his suspension was with immediate effect.
