News filtering through the social media web and on blogs that the former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has died from coronavirus is has been debunked, a source close to the Ex-Governor told OYOGist.com.

According to our source who has reliable information from people attending to the former Governor, he stopped breathing for a while, causing panic of his death. He then recovered shortly after, but is still in coma.

“He stopped responding for a little bit and everyone thought he was dead. But then, he started responding again and is back in coma. We’re praying for him.”

However, OYOGist.com is aware that several sources have gone to print with the news that the former Governor, Abiola Ajimobi has died. We are yet to authenticate the validity of this report.
