Nigeria Needs N500 Billion Annually To Revive The Country’s Road Networks – Babatunde Fashola

According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Nigerian federal government has reportedly made a disclosure that the country would need a total of N500 billion naira annually for the next 3 years to develop the country’s 35,000km road networks.

This was made known by the Nigerian Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola who stated that construction works is currently ongoing on 13,000km of the road networks in the country.

The minister also blamed the past administrations for the poor road conditions in the country stating that if the past administration had cared about the roads in the country and started the rebuild, the road network construction would have been completed.

Mr. Fashola used the medium to reiterate the President Muhammadu Buhari’s plan to revive the road networks in the country. He noted that the federal government would do everything possible within its capability, to bring back the lost glory of Nigeria.
