OYOGist.com has learned that the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party National Campaign Council for the Edo State Governorship Election, Governor Nyesom Wike, has said that his Kano State counterpart, Abdullahi Ganduje, is the one who deserves to be isolated, not him.

As reported, Ganduje said during a media briefing in Abuja, on Monday that we know the PDP made Wike their (campaign council) chairman. I assure you; we will isolate Wike in an isolation centre and before he recovers, the election is over.”

According to report, Wike replied, “Nobody can intimidate us in this election. Yesterday, I was told and today and I read on the pages of newspapers that one Governor Ganduje said that he is going to isolate me until the election is over. If Nigeria is supposed to be a country, who is supposed to be isolated?

In addition, Abdullahi Ganduje also on Monday said the opposition Peoples Democratic Party took the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, in because he is in control of the state treasury.

He further said this in an interview soon after the campaign council was inaugurated at the APC National Secretariat, Abuja, on Monday.

He also said the APC was not bothered about the governor Nyesom Wike-led Peoples Democratic Party National Campaign Council because the APC has a candidate who has all it takes to win the governorship election.
