Three notorious armed robbers and kidnappers who were previously members of Degbam secret cult that operate and terrorise the Kalabari axis of the Rivers state have renounced their trade after reportedly accepting Christ at the Omega Power Ministry.
As a commitment to their genuineness to accept Christ, they have also submitted one AK47 Riffle, one MSG, three Magazine and 47 rounds of 7.9mm lives ammunitions being the instruments they use for their activities.
Receiving the weapon on behalf of the church, Apostle Chibuzor Chiyere said his mandate to win souls for God can not be hindered by the present hardship experience globally.

He said the church relationship and understanding with the Nigerian police is yielding dividend as many condemned criminals were now enjoying the free humanitarian benefits provided through the tithes and offerings of the church.
He said despite the closure of churches, the OPM sustained the rehabilitation of repentant armed robbers, kidnappers, prostitutes and cultists in the state.
While handing over the weapons to the commissioner of police, represented by the tactical unit leader, Apostle Chibuzor Chiyere thanked the police for their support and cordial relationship that have existed over time between the church and the police.
