OYOGist.com has learned that a former Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman and currently the Chairman of Imo State government instituted COVID-19 management committee in an interview with journalists has allegedly disclosed that his work is done primarily through the Bio resources Development Group (BDG), which he said is an independent biosciences research and development organization that processes and produces medicines, nutraceuticals and cosmetics from natural products like plants.
He also said that BDG is the biggest research institute in the whole Africa with many success belts within them.

One of the questions thrown at him was his opinion on the Covid-Organic from Madagascar. In his reply, he said that It is an interesting development though, but that he announced to the world about three months ago that the BDG have a treatment for Covid – 19 based on solid scientific evidence and patents but nobody listened or even bothered to ask questions on the data.
Nigerians have reacted to his statements and claims, while many have blamed the Nigerian government for not trusting the country’s abilities up till today.
He was also asked if herbal preparation have a future in Nigeria, he replied by saying a yes, with claims that it is the most efficient healer and with fewer risks but the problem is Nigerians’ psychological disposition towards anything local which is a challenge.
