The final match of the expanded World Cup tournament at MetLife Stadium is set to be a massive entertainment spectacle, drawing iconic names from Hollywood and the global music industry.

As Spain and Argentina prepare to battle for the championship title in front of 80,000 stadium spectators and billions of television viewers worldwide, a heavy hitting lineup of A-list celebrities will take center stage. High-profile attendees will also include US President Donald Trump.

The pre-game closing ceremony will feature a special appearance by Tom Cruise, sparking anticipation for another major Hollywood stunt following his dramatic aerial display at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Joining Cruise for the pre-match festivities are British pop veteran Robbie Williams, Pussycat Dolls vocalist Nicole Scherzinger, and Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson, who is scheduled to perform the American national anthem. Other notable names expected at the venue include rapper Post Malone and popular internet streamer IShowSpeed.

For the first time in World Cup history, the tournament will introduce a massive 11-minute halftime show, curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

Described by FIFA President Gianni Infantino as the “biggest in the world,” the star-studded halftime performance will feature pop icon Madonna, Justin Bieber, K-pop sensation BTS, and Shakira. Notably, Shakira will perform alongside Nigerian Afrobeat star Burna Boy to deliver “Dai Dai,” the tournament’s official anthem.

Accompanied by Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel and a New York chorus, the entertainment spectacular will double as a charity event to raise funds for an educational project spearheaded by FIFA and the Global Citizen NG
