According to reports reaching Oyogist.com, Banks in Nigerian have reportedly made Covid-19 vaccine or post negative COVID-19 results every two weeks compulsory for their staffs.

According to information gathered, six banks shared circulars to their workers asking them to get vaccinated or conduct COVID-19 tests on a bi-weekly basis at personal cost.

This comes after the federal government mandated civil servants to get vaccinated against COVID-19 last week.

Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), said unvaccinated workers would be barred from entering their places of work from December 1, 2021.

Since February 2020, Nigeria has recorded more than 200,000 cases and almost 3,000 deaths due to covid-19.
