According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Federal House of Representatives has reportedly called in the Nigerian Federal Government to postpone the reopening of schools on January 18th amid the rising cases of the coronavirus infection.

This was made known by the house in a statement released by the House Committee on Basic Education and services, headed by Professor Julius Ihonvbere.

It should be recalled that the Ministry of Education had earlier announced that there will be no going back on the January 18th, 2021, resumption date, an announce which was made to clarify the rumor going around that the reopening of schools has been postponed indefinitely.
