Breaking: Lagos orders public, private schools to resume January 18

According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Lagos State Government ha reportedly directed all public and private schools in the state to resume the 2020/2021 academic session starting from Monday, January 18.

This was announced by the Lagos State Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo, on Monday, while stating that the state government decision was in line with the federal government’s directive following the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.

She therefore urged all the schools in the state to comply with the laid down Covid-19 protocols stating that the protocol is “not just for the improvement of overall school operations but for the safe reopening of academic activities to support the Lagos State Government’s quest for a full return.”
