American pop star and singer, Beyonce has bagged nine Grammy nominations, coming on top as the most nominated artist for the upcoming Grammy Awards.

The “Black Parade” singer was on Tuesday earned bids for Song and Record of the Year for her Black Parade song, OYOGist.com has learned. Black Parade celebrates Black pride and was historically released on Juneteenth, the holiday that celebrates the history of the freedom of African American slaves.

Proceeds from Beyonce’s Black Parade goes to BeyGOOD’s Black Business Impact Fund, to help black-owned small businesses in need.

Beyonce released the song on the heels of Black Lives Matter protests, following the killing of George Floyd by police in America.

Black Parade is also nominated for Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance. The song later made the deluxe edition of The Lion King: The Gift after Beyonce released the visual album “Black is King”.

Beyonce has not officially released any album in 2020.
