OYOGist.com has learned that the former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has suggested that the security challenges in Nigeria is highly contributed by the attitudes of some politicians.

As reported on VANGUARD, Jonathan explained that the use of the youths as thugs by politicians had been the greatest contributor of the security challenges in Nigeria.

In his words, he said; “Our political activities particularly the use of young people as militiamen and thugs and so on to win elections has increased the security challenges facing our nation”.

He said such politicians have been indirectly promoting thuggery and cultism as a means of winning elections.

He made this statement while speaking with the Governor of Bayelsa State – Senator Douye Diri, during the Third Synod of the Diocese of Ogbia at St Mark’s Anglican Church, Otakeme.

He therefore suggested that this attitude could be cramped if the country should adopt electronic voting system; suggesting that over 50 per cent of the problems bedevilling the country including insurgency, cultism and corruption will be addressed with the adoption and effective use of e-voting.

Howdy! This is kind of off topic but I need some help
from an established blog. Is it tough to set up your own blog?
I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast.
I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to start.
Do you have any tips or suggestions? Cheers
