The Lagos Lawmaker who has recently come under the slammer after her comments on the floor of the Lagos State House of Assembly, where she said Nigerian youths are high on drugs all the time has come under fire again, OYOGist.com reports.
Mojisola Ali-Macaulay who represents Amuwo Odofin came under fire after images that resurfaced online showed the lawmaker’s birthday souvenir allegedly included some COVID-19 palliatives.
OYOGist.com recalls that her co-lawmaker, Desmond Elliot was forced to issue a statement of apology and recant his statement after calling for the regulation of social media.
Desmond Elliot had blamed social media for the looting and carnage that followed the shootings of peaceful #EndSARS protesters at Lekki on the 20th of October 2020.
