Gov. Okowa orders closure of schools, imposes 48hrs curfew in Delta State

OYOGist.com has learned that the Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa in a broadcast today, has ordered for 48-hour curfew in the State starting from 6 pm today, due to the unfortunate incidences happening in the country. However, schools in the State are being ordered to close with immediate until November.

Furthermore, it has been reveled that this SARS occasion, threatens to plunge the State into chaos and anarchy. Therefore, everyone is urged to stay indoors as its a clear sign of danger that we must prevent.

Following the incident which occurred last night, “I have ordered for the closure of all public and private schools, including primary and secondary schools in the State until 2nd, Monday November 2020.

Meanwhile, the curfew is expected to start from 6pm today and will last till the next 48hrs. So therefore, everybody is expected to sit at home, apart from those on very essential service.
