Liverpool football club had a buzzing summer transfer window. The Reds are keen on defending the Premier League title and brought in Kostas Tsimikas, Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota to help win the championship, oyogist.com reports.

However, the arrival of new players have brought added competition for places in the squad meaning that some fringe players will have to be offloaded.

That said, Liverpool winger Harry Wilson is reportedly set for an exit after failing to land a transfer in the Premier League.

The 23-year-old Wales International has only made one competitive appearance for Liverpool and was linked with a move away during the summer transfer window.

However, the interested parties were unable to meet his asking price before the summer transfer window ended.

And now according to reports from The Sun via Mirror, Harry Wilson will be thrown a lifeline from the second tier.

The reports claimed that Championship side Swansea City are interested in his services and have inquired about his availability.

The Swans are keen on improving their attacking options and have identified Harry Wilson as a needed addition to their squad.

However, they will have to fend off competition from Norwich City, Cardiff and Nottingham Forest for his signature.
