Governor Makinde Approves #41 Million For The Rehabilitation Of Old Ogbomoso-Ilorin Road

According to report reaching OYOGist.com, the Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has approved #41 million for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Apake to Sabo axis of the old Ogbomoso-Ilorin road.

The caretaker chairman, Ogbomoso North Local Government area, honorable Ibrahim Ajagbe, disclosed this in a chat with newsmen on Friday.

According to the chairman, the immediate reconstruction of the road came to fore as a result of the untold hardship which thousands of commuters and motorists do encounter while plying the strategic road that links the South Western part of the country with the North.

He added that the road in question falls within the purview of the federal government but all due process have been followed without any prejudice.

Noble FM’s correspondent, Micheal Oladejo, gathered that the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the Apake to Sabo axis of the old Ogbomoso-Ilorin road will commence this week.
