Reports reaching Oyogist.com shows the period a gas plant exploded at Baruwa, Ipaja, which caused a serious fire outbreak in the area.
An eyewitness confirmed that the gas plant explosion was so severe, causing the fire to extend to buildings around.
This incident comes two weeks after a similar explosion in Iju-Ishaga area of Lagos left 40 people injured and buildings destroyed.
