DSS lost two officers in what was clearly an unprovoked violent attack launched by IPOB

The Department of State Security (DSS) has said that its watch group was on Sunday assaulted and two agents were killed at Emene, Enugu State by individuals from the banished Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

DSS, as per Dr Peter Afunanya, its representative, lost two officers in what was “unmistakably an unjustifiable fierce assault propelled by IPOB in the group while on legitimate obligation.

He said, the Service thusly mourns with the family of the left officials and furthermore pray to God for the rest of their spirits.

“In any case, the sum total of what measures have been set up to guarantee that their executioners and everybody associated with this devious demonstration are immediately caught and brought to equity. Thus, a full-scale investigation will be completed with respect to the occurrence.

Also, the Service reaffirms its duty to indefatigably work with other security organizations to keep up open wellbeing and request. It, along these lines, urges well behaved residents and inhabitants to approach their ordinary organizations unafraid.
