OYOGist.com has seen a leaked video of a conversation between late Senator Buruji Kashamu and businessman, Chief Kessington Adebutu (Baba Ijebu) where the former was begging the latter for forgiveness.
Buruji Kashamu died of COVID-19 on the 8th of August 2020. He had during the call begged the businessmen for forgiveness.
Late Kashamu said he was not seeking for anything from Baba Ijebu but only wanted to right his wrongs. The call was mostly held in Yoruba.
Chief Adebutu on his part said he just hoped Kashamu was sincere with him. After getting an assurance from Buruji Kashamu who said he would bring an agreement if necessary, Chief Adebutu then told the late Senator to withdraw all court cases against him (Adebutu) to show his (Kashamu) sincerity.
The conversation revealed that Kashamu had misunderstandings with the lotto billionaire and allegedly tried to use Betnaija to disrupt Chief Adebutu’s business, including court cases.
