According to report reaching OYOGist.com, French Club Lille has completed the signing of Angel Gomes for free after the 19 years old failed to sign a new contract with Manchester United. The attacking mid fielder’s deal with Manchester united ended on June 30 with the 19 years old failing to agree a new contract.
Now, Lille has opted to sign him on a 5-years contract and immediately sent him on loan to Portuguese side Boavista for the 2020/21 campaign.
Since the youngster made his first team debut, he failed to keep a place in the First team making limited appearance. He made only 10 senior appearance with four coming in the premier league.
The English man rejected a deal with United because he wasn’t sure of regular play. He opted to allow his deal end in order to find a better play time.
Now he has joined the Ligue one side but won’t play for them in the 2020/21 season. He will immediately be loaned to Portuguese for him to gain more game time.
