Following the drama that ensued in the past two days, Toke Makinwa was allegedly said to have lost her Banana Island Mansion to AMCON because she was reportedly gifted the house by the original owner of the house, oyogist.com report.

This made a lot of people to start doubting her stance about feminism and her mantra about how a woman should always work hard to build up herself. A lot of memes were created to mock her, including the ones advertising smaller houses in the mainland for her to move into.

However on the 29th of July, 2020. Toke makinwa released a statement accusing PM News of publishing fake news about her even though they knew fully well that the stories were untrue, they still went ahead to publish it knowing fully well it was based on a rumour, they never tried to verify the truth of the matter.

The news house has been asked to retract their publication, and to also write a contrite apology to Miss. Toke Makinwa, and the failure to comply with the terms would lead to Toke suing for defamation.
