The 29 years old has continuously been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Manchester City and Manchester United credited with a keen interest in securing the signature of the Napoli star, but Liverpool have been handed a boost in his signature, as they have been identified as the favourites to sign the Serie A star.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has shown interest in adding players of high quality to his squad against next campaign, and as a result the German tactician is keen on to pair the Senegal international defender with Virgil van Dijk, to build one of the best Back lines in the world.

Kalidou Koulibaly who still has three years with Napoli has been valued at around €100m by the Naples, a price which could be the only problem for the Merseyside Red Presently, as a result of the financial implications caused as a result of the coronavirus pandemics.
