Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases hit 22,020 as 647 new cases recorded in 1 day

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded another new 647 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria on Wednesday, 24th of June, 2020, bringing the total confirmed cases to 22,020, OYOGist.com reports.

According to the report, 275 cases were discharged and 9 deaths were recorded on Wednesday, bringing the total discharged cases to 7,613 and deaths to 542.

The cases were recorded in the following states Lagos-250 Oyo-100 Plateau-40 Delta-40 Abia-28 Kaduna-27 Ogun-22 Edo-20 Akwa Ibom-18 Kwara-17 FCT-17 Enugu-14 Niger-13 Adamawa-13 Bayelsa-7 Osun-6 Bauchi-6 Anambra-4 Gombe-3 Sokoto-2 Imo-1 Kano-1.
