BREAKING: Fire Explosion on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway as multiple tankers collide

A fire explosion has kept travelers along Lagos-Ibadan stranded for hours after three petroleum-laden trucks collided on the Lagos-bound area of the road, OYOGist.com has learnt.

The accident that occurred early Sunday morning at around 1am midnight has prevented the Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC) operatives from opening the road following the mid-night inter-state curfew, as the fire continues to burn.

The incident happened at Kara bridge on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, when an articulated truck collided with a gas-loaded tanker.

There is said to be no casualties from the incident, however, 4 vehicles have been destroyed.
