COVID-19: “Schools cannot reopen yet” – Ministry of Education

The Federal Ministry of Education, led by the Hon. Emeka Nwajiuba, the Minister of State for Education has reiterated that schools across the nations will remain closed until it can guarantee the safety of students, OYOGist.com has gathered.

This is contrary to the false and misleading information being peddled by a major media outlet attributing the statement that schools have been ordered to reopen to the SGF, Boss Mustapha.

OYOGist.com would like to remind Nigerians that currently, we’re seeing increasing amount of reported confirmed COVID-19 cases, and reopening schools would not only be reckless on the part of the Federal Government, but would endanger the lives of students across the nations.
