Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Belgian First Division A side Club Brugge and the Nigeria national team. He is set to leave Club Brugge this summer after three years at the club.
The 22 year old Dennis is the cynosure of all eyes as many European top notch clubs are interested in him. Amongst the clubs are Newcastle, Brighton, Sheffield United, Watford, Monaco and Sampdoria are all keen on signing him.
However, leading the transfer deal is Arsenal FC. Although Denis signed an improved contract that runs until 2022, it is believed that he will leave if Arsenal are willing to pay the £22million price tag on his head.
He almost left last summer, but the arrival of Philippe Clement as manager made him stay one more year. Clement has now admitted he is likely to leave the Jan Breydel Stadium, with Arsenal looking like the expected destination, according to reports.
Dennis has represented Nigeria on under-15 and under-23 level. He made his debut for the senior team on 10 September 2019 in a 2–2 friendly draw to Ukraine, coming on as a 82nd-minute substitute for Samuel Chukwueze.
The Nigerian is also attracting interest from all over Europe, after netting nine goals this season, including a brace against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in the Champions League.
