NCDC records 338 new COVID-19 cases, 177 in Lagos, 5959 total

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 338 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Sunday, 17th of May, 2020, bringing the total confirmed cases in Nigeria to 5959, OYOGist.com has gathered.

The new cases were recorded in 18 states, including Lagos State with 177 new cases, and 64-Kano 21-FCT 16-Rivers 14-Plateau 11-Oyo 9-Katsina 4-Jigawa 4-Kaduna 3-Abia 3-Bauchi 3-Borno 2-Gombe 2-Akwa Ibom 2-Delta 1-Ondo 1-Kebbi and 1 in Sokoto.

As of the 17th of May, Nigeria has discharged 1594 coronavirus patients, and now has recorded 182 coronavirus-related deaths, OYOGist.com has learnt.
