President Muhammadu Buhari will be addressing Nigerians on Monday, the 18th of May, 2020, according to the National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force, Aliyu Sani, OYOGist.com has gathered.
Sani made the announcement on Channels Television, Sunday 17th of May, where he revealed that the President would announce whether there would be further easing on the lockdown.
The President is also expected to speak on the state of the COVID-19 crisis in the nation and would be giving an update on the efforts of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
OYOGist.com reports that the President, on Sunday 17th of May, received the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, led by the SGF of the Nation, Boss Mustapha, who delivered a briefing on the COVID-19 update to the President.
